Ingredients

Marry Me Chicken Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 6 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Heavy whipping cream
  • ¾ teaspoon Fine sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Fresh ground black pepper
  • ½ cup Shredded parmesan cheese

Marry Me Chicken

  • 2 pounds Boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon Paprika
  • ½ cup Sun dried tomatoes chopped (not in oil)
  • 2 cup Baby spinach
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over medium low heat, melt the butter and sauté the garlic until fragrant. Stir in the heavy cream, salt, and pepper, then slowly melt in the parmesan cheese until smooth.

  2. Place the chicken thighs in the slow cooker and season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and paprika. Sprinkle the chopped sun dried tomatoes evenly over the chicken.

  3. Pour the prepared cream sauce over the chicken, coating the tops as evenly as possible.

  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours, until the chicken is tender and cooked through.

  5. Remove the chicken and set aside. Turn the slow cooker to high, add the spinach, and let it wilt into the sauce.

  6. Return the chicken to the slow cooker and spoon the creamy sauce over the top. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
