DIY Gingerbread Soap

This easy Gingerbread Soap is a cozy holiday DIY that smells like warm spices and looks adorable in any bathroom. It’s beginner friendly, budget friendly, and perfect for gifting, making stocking stuffers, or adding a cute festive touch to your sink. Just melt, mix, pour, and let it set for the cutest holiday soap ever.

Ingredients

  • ½ pound melt-and-pour soap base
  • 1 tablespoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 30 drops vanilla oleoresin
  • 20 drops cinnamon leaf
  • 20 drops ginger
  • 10 drops clove
  • 10 drops sweet orange

Instructions

  1. Cut the soap base into cubes and place in a heat-safe bowl with the ginger and cinnamon. Melt in a double boiler or in 20 to 30 second intervals in the microwave until smooth.

  2. Let the mixture cool slightly so it’s warm but not too hot.

  3. Stir in the essential oils until fully mixed.

  4. Pour into soap molds and let sit until completely firm.

  5. Remove from molds and store or wrap as desired.

• Let the soap cool slightly before adding oils for the best scent.
• Silicone molds make removal super easy.
