Easy Aperol Spritz Jello Shots

Make these impressive and delicious looking Aperol Spritz Jello Shots for a summer crowd or party. This easy recipe is perfect for any occasion and gives the fun European appeal.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup Aperol Spritz
  • 1 mini bottle Prosecco (or ½ cup)
  • 1 box orange Jello mix
  • 4 small oranges

Instructions

  1. Cut the oranges

    slice an orange in half and spoon out the orange pulp until you have just the peel. Do the same for both halves and the rest of the oranges. Reserve the orange shells and be careful not break them. Place the shells in a separate container.

  2. Make the orange juice

    squeeze or press orange pulp in a bowl until you have 1 cup of OJ. Throw away the pulp.

  3. Heat juice and mix with alc

    Put the juice in a saucepan and simmer. Add the Jello mix to a bowl and stir in the warm juice. Stir until gelatin has dissolved. Add Aperol and Prosecco.

  4. Pour mix into oranges & chill

    Carefully pour mixture into the orange shell halves, filling to the top as much as possible. Let sit in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight until firm.

  5. Slice the Jello shells

    Once firm, take out and slice each half into 4 slices (or 2 if easier). Now you have little orange Jello slice shots! Bon appetite!

-Chill cups before filling for faster setting
