Course Dessert
Prep Time 15 minutes
Total Time 2 hours 15 minutes
Servings 12 pieces

Ingredients

  • 2 cups white chocolate
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate morsels
  • ½ cup red candy melts
  • ½ cup white candy melts
  • ½ cup blue candy melts
  • 1 tablespoon red, white, and blue star sprinkles
  • ¼ cup red, white, and blue M&Ms

Instructions

  1. Line a 13x9 baking tray or baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

  2. Add the semi-sweet chocolate morsels to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth and fully melted.

  3. Pour the melted semi-sweet chocolate onto the prepared tray and spread it into an even layer. Let it harden completely, either at room temperature or in the refrigerator.

  4. Melt the white chocolate morsels using the same method. Pour the melted white chocolate over the hardened chocolate layer and spread evenly. Allow the white chocolate layer to fully set.

  5. Melt the red, white, and blue candy melts in separate bowls. Drizzle each color over the white chocolate layer.

  6. Use a toothpick to gently swirl the candy melts together to create a marbled effect.

  7. Immediately sprinkle the red, white, and blue star sprinkles and M&Ms over the top while the candy melts are still soft.

  8. Let the bark harden completely at room temperature or refrigerate until fully set.

  9. Lift the bark from the tray using the parchment paper and break it into pieces. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.

Recipe Notes

  • Refrigerate between layers for faster setting
  • Swirl the candy melts while they're still soft
  • Great for party trays and gifting
  • Store in a cool place to prevent melting
  • Use parchment paper for easy removal
  • Use white chocolate and color it red or blue with food safe gel dyes instead of buying the candy melts.
