Ingredients

  • 2 pounds fresh strawberries
  • 24 ounces vanilla almond bark
  • ¼ cup blue sanding sugar

Instructions

  1. Wash the strawberries and dry them completely using paper towels. Any moisture will prevent the chocolate from sticking properly.

  2. Place the almond bark in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 30 second intervals, stirring each time, until fully melted and smooth.

  3. Pour the blue sanding sugar into a small bowl and line a baking sheet with parchment or wax paper.

  4. Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip it into the melted almond bark, letting the excess drip off.

  5. While the coating is still wet, dip or roll the strawberry in the blue sanding sugar.

  6. Set the strawberries on the prepared baking sheet and let them sit until the coating is firm.

Recipe Notes

  • Dry strawberries really well for best results
