I remember my graduation party being simple but I wanted a tropical theme because I’m a tropical gal. My mom planned the whole thing, probably in part why it was such a hit, but all I had requested was tropical vibes and that’s what I got. I had a huge beach backdrop and a ton of snacks which was all I needed. Some grad parties don’t take much, just a few pieces that pop and good food that make the party enjoyable, while others put more energy into the decorating and keep the food and beverages simple! I wasn’t crazy about decorating for mine, but that all changed by the time of my brother’s graduation party.
When my brother’s grad party came around, I went ham with decorations. Pretty sure I was more excited about his party than mine. Maybe I just grew into the idea of decorating and helping host for special occasions, but I definitely had a vision and wanted it to be the best grad party for him. While my mom cooked and displayed all the food, she left the decor and furniture arranging for me. I don’t recall my brother even giving an opinion to anything, he knew we’d pull through and make it look good (he was just there for his friends and food).

I haven’t seen a more adorable sign for a grad party, this will be one of the best assets to your party! A sign that’s sweet and humorous, perfect for photos, and sets the mood for the whole thing! I see a lot of numbers for graduation parties which are great too, but a funny saying will get your party talking.
I saw this activity at a party before and LOVED it. What’s not more memorable than having a picture of everyone you cherish and little note to remember them by? This is a fun activity for anyone at the party, it’s a perfect excuse to take selfies and use a cute camera. By the end of the party, it will feel like your own personal book to look through and see pictures and notes from all your favorite people!
I love this combo for a grad party, it’s looks so elegant! This is something that can be placed anywhere and look pretty. You can either make it yourself or order a few and it will SET a vibe.
One of the most common assets to any grad party is a picture display, something to share your memories and growth along the way. Why not do something different than the average table display and string pictures across the opening doors! It’s a great way to make use of space and the first thing people will see when they come in!
One of my all-time favorite food ideas for grad parties is a taco in a bag! Basically everything you would need to make a taco, you mix in a chips bag instead, SO good!! Such an easy and clever way to snacking!
I love the idea of taking a couch or couple pieces of furniture outside, making for a cute and comfy way to sit (and highkey great photo opportunity)! It definitely makes a statement. All your friends will be fighting for a spot and it’s a good use of furniture without taking out the camping chairs!
Usually, I see big face cutouts at sporting games, but why not have a cut out of yourself people can take pictures with at the party! You can use it through all of graduation and can still be used as a funny prop. Better yet, you can get a group of your friends to celebrate your faces together!
I don’t care if there’s a theme to your party or not, these cactus and taco cupcakes are too freaking cute! This is a fun way to include tasty treats at your party, they might even look too good to eat!
If you’re a big smores person you will need this set up at your grad party. It can be as simple as lighting a bunch of candles and having a smore feast! You will be sure to have everyone’s attention with this idea.
Everything about this I love. This is probably the funkiest yet coolest balloon arrangement I’ve seen and perfect for a grad party. If you’re looking to add more color and vibrancy to the party this could be it!
In a six year difference, my brother and I both had a chocolate fountain at our grad parties and everyone devoured it! The fountain just keeps going, everyone is talking and you dip as many times as you want, it’s the perfect addition to any grad party! Anything that’ good being dipped in chocolate applies. Your friends will be going on about this!
Here’s that final to-go gift for your party people, something little, cheap and clever! Who doesn’t need a lightbulb glass of M&M’s? Everyone will think you’re brilliant for it and it’s something thoughtful they can take with them. It’s a win-win!
