I make these mini pretzel dogs anytime I need a crowd-pleasing snack that's easy to make and one that everyone loves.

Mini Pretzel Dogs

They're soft, buttery, slightly salty, and wrapped around little smokies for the perfect bite-sized snack. Think game day, movie night, birthday parties, or honestly just a fun dinner moment. They look impressive but are secretly super simple to make.

Things to Know Before Making Mini Pretzel Dogs

  • Don't skip the baking soda boil. That's what gives them that classic pretzel flavor and golden crust.
  • Make sure your water is fully boiling before adding the wrapped sausages.
  • Use parchment paper so nothing sticks after baking.
  • Brush with butter right after baking so the salt sticks and the tops stay glossy.

I love making these when I want something snacky but homemade or need a fun appetizer to take.
